| IVR
Interactive Voice Response (IVR) surveys are conducted
through an automated voice messaging system. Through IVR,
clients can distribute a toll free telephone number to potential
respondents and allow them to call in to complete a survey
at their convenience. Respondents use their touch-tone phone
pad to respond to professionally voiced, pre-recorded verbal
instructions. Combined with the right incentives, this sophisticated
mode of collection can remove interviewer bias and dramatically
reduce fielding costs. Mountain West Research Center wants
to be involved in your next expedition not only as a data
collection asset but also as a consultant who can comment
on which collection methodology, or combination of methodologies,
is most productive and efficient for your next project.
Because we do it all, we can offer unbiased feedback and
add value to your projects.
Outbound survey invitation calls to potential respondents
can be done automatically or we can use live interviewers
to secure respondent participation, then transfer them into
the IVR survey. IVR technology can be a more cost effective
solution for particular types of studies where respondent
convenience is a priority. We have conducted IVR surveys
for many years and have used this technology to collect
information on a wide variety of topics. Typical types of
research projects we've successfully administered through
IVR include:
- Customer satisfaction
- Employee satisfaction
- Dealer locator inquiries
- Political / opinion polling
- Get out the vote reminders
